The other remained so at least they were able to keep working but it bugged me Of the shared mailbox but after about 30 seconds 1 would disappear as usual but Upon launching Outlook this would display 2 instances Which was fixed by adding the mailbox in the additional Mailboxes area of I had several users with the disappearing shared mailbox issue This was an issue I had struggled with for weeks until I I'm sure I've tried some other things, but cant think of them. Created a new shared mailbox to confirm it wasn't an issue with the current mailboxes, still doesn't show upĪt one point, one of the shared mailboxes populated for longer than 15 seconds and I was able to work in it, but as soon as I restarted Outlook it disappeared again.Microsoft support had me change some registries on my computer, not sure all the registries they changed (doubt it was that as the issue occurs on more than 1 machine).Confirmed autodiscover added to the nameservers.Running the Microsoft Support & Recover Assistant tool.I'm not sure if the tool was the main cause as we also made some nameserver adjustments the week before, but no one else in the office is having the issue. I open Outlook, I see the shared mailboxes, then after it finishes opening, the shared mailboxes disappear. Now I have 3 machines including the one I used the tool on that have disappearing shared mailboxes after about 15 seconds after opening Outlook. I was setting up some new systems and was having an issue with the auto setup (An error occurred, please try again), so I used a tool by Microsoft that fixed the issue.
